A JB Tour Of Chippendale
The eclectic suburb of Chippendale has been home to the JB studio for the last 6 years. Full of culture, arts and delicious food Chippendale is one of Sydney’s best kept secrets. We’ve taken a moment to give you a little tour of our local hot spots!
BRICKFIELDS CAFE
Our go-to coffee spot at JB and often first port of call is Brickfields. Not only do they do great coffee, but you can’t look past the beautiful pastries and fresh bread.

ART AND DESIGN
Home to Nanda/Hobbs, Michael Reid, and The White Rabbit Gallery, Chippendale is full of contemporary art galleries. Whether you’re looking for a Saturday activity or are in the market for some art I would highly recommend popping into these galleries.
NANDA\HOBBS
We popped into Nanda Hobbs to see the David Fairbairn exhibition. David is an Australian artist making large scale works using print, drawing, and mixed media. I got lost in the incredible line-work in his art and stunning use of colour.

RICOS TACOS
A great lunch spot is Rico’s Tacos. With a sunny interior and a great selection of Mexican food on offer, it’s worth checking out. My favourite is the fish and cauliflower taco!

MICHAEL REID
Our last stop was the Michael Reid Gallery, internationally renowned the gallery operates in six locations representing mainly painters and photographers. We wandered through the Lucy Roleff exhibition DEEP SPACE. Her gorgeous oil on linen artworks almost resembled antique photographs, with incredible attention to detail.
